Miles Davis – Kind of Blue
Kind of Blue is universally acknowledged to be the album that encapsulates the relaxed elegance
of modern jazz in the 1950s. It was recorded in 1959, and explores Davis’ fascination with modal
jazz. It sold far more copies than any other jazz record.
