Now’s the Time was recorded at two sessions, in 1952 and 1953, with two different lineups. Parker
was one of the key founders of the bebop style of the 1940s. He devised a new musical language
that was the inspiration for a whole generation of musicians.

The Musicians

drums
Session 2: Charlie Parker, alto sax; Al Haig, piano; Percy Heath, double bass; Max Roach, drums
