Charlie Parker Quartet – Now’s the Time
Now’s the Time was recorded at two sessions, in 1952 and 1953, with two different lineups. Parker
was one of the key founders of the bebop style of the 1940s. He devised a new musical language
that was the inspiration for a whole generation of musicians.
